Production Coordinator

Required Experience - Minimum 3-5 years in manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop and execute detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. 
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address unexpected delays or changes in demand. 
  • Coordinate with materials management to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components. 
  • Work Order Management:
  • Assign tasks to production teams based on work orders and ensure clear understanding of job requirements. 
  • Track progress on work orders, identifying potential bottlenecks and taking corrective actions. 
  • Quality Control:
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the production process. 
  • Conduct regular quality checks to identify defects and ensure adherence to established standards. 
  • Collaborate with quality assurance team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, components, and finished goods. 
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering when necessary to avoid production delays. 
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track key production metrics such as production volume, cycle time, scrap rates, and labor efficiency. 
  • Generate regular reports to management on production performance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Team Coordination and Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with production team members, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other departments regarding production schedules, quality issues, and any necessary adjustments. 
  • Address and resolve production-related issues promptly. 
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the production area. 
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among production team members. 


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of machine manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
